Wow! I can’t believe a year has past since my last post. As you can imagine life got a little hectic as the puppies got more active! I will post a follow up with pics of the puppies at a year old. We had mixed emotions as we said goodbye to our first litter and they moved to their forever families. Rick and I had discussed adding another standard poodle to our family as I really wanted a Parti- colored poodle, so we figured this would be a good time. We were already in puppy mode so why not now?

We were luck enough to have been in touch with a fellow breeder who had a large litter of Royal Standard Parti Poodles, these puppies are expected to be 75 pounds at adulthood! The breeder had a female that had not been spoken for so we jumped at the chance, and welcomed Meiko to our family in November of 2017.

Meiko is large, already 60 pounds at a year old! She loves to play catch, rough house, and is super alert! She learned how to open doors by 7 months old! While Stella is the Princess, Meiko is definitely the class President. You can find her were ever the action is, she doesn’t miss a beat! We love her spots! We can’t wait to see what her puppies look like!
